Howard Gardner's Theory in Multiple Intelligences Howard Gardner, who is a professor, released a document that outline his theory of multiple intelligences where he strongly believed that everyone has different intelligences. His theory of multiple intelligences challenges the idea of a single IQ, where human beings have one central computer where intelligence cannot be changed and can only be measured by a psychologist. At first, Howard Gardner listed only seven intelligences which is verbal, mathematical, musical, bodily kinesthetic, spatial, interpersonal, and intrapersonal. However, he later added the eight and nine skills which is naturalist intelligence and existential intelligence.
